Media Career

How It Began

At the age of 12, I got obsessed with radio. Presenters were my new best friends and music was my everything. End of 2001, I got 2 weeks internship through a work-program at my school, Princeton Academy, at East FM.  After the internship I wasn’t able to get a spot on air at East FM, so I auditioned ( I never even told my mum about the audition!) at Sound Asia FM and got a spot.

Sound Asia FM

My journey began. Hosted the 10AM-12PM “Razz-Matazz Kids Club Show” on Saturday’s from July 2002 and my radio name was Twinkle. It was one of the highest rated shows on the station! Mid 2004 I had to leave to focus on my O Levels. Got back on air after a year in September 2005. I hosted “The Going Out Guide”, which aired like news about 5 times a day. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to leave again at the end of October 2005. I went off to study Radio and Television Broadcasting, as that, of course, is where my passion has always been. After studying and working at Cable Television Network, in Jan 2010 I made my come back on radio. I hosted Saturday Breakfast and Co-Drive until February 2012.

From March 2012 to March 2015 I had the greatest opportunity to work at Radio Africa Group that shelters – Kiss 100, Classic 105, Radio Jambo, X FM, East FM, Kiss TV and The Star Newspaper. I was a full-time Copy Writer, Producer and part-time Presenter at East FM.

I also had a daily feature on XFM called Events & Lifestyle and a Radio show called “The Remedy” on Sunday’s.
