Today is exactly 2 years since I signed my contract with East FM. It’s been such an incredible journey so far. Not only have I grown up and evolved, it’s polished me career wise and given me extra skills and changed my perception of life.

RunThis week’s been great so far. I’ve had a couple of new experiences personally and one of my closest friends, Jennifer, is back in town for a few days and the Pearl Koroga Premier League is on for my team this Sunday and the list can really just go on and on because really, so much is happening in the next few days.

Life is so vibrant.

When such anniversaries and life experiences and stuff happen, you can’t help but reflect. Think about everything. Remembering how it all began.

I had a great dinner last night and the person I sat with for hours, had so much to offer mentally. The conversation was incredible. Moving. A little bit of a wake up call. A little bit of a nudge. A little bit of hope.

He called it his own saying1451999_615787058458599_1571486786_n “Take that step, and the next and the next, and when you’re just about to reach the top of that flight, don’t forget to look back and see how far you’ve come.”

Today, I look back, and wow. It’s been a long journey. A really long one.

Later sitting with Jennifer and having a brief chat with her, and hearing what she’s been through and what’s next just proves how regularly human beings evolve.

Things can change within seconds, within hours, days or even months. Perhaps for some it takes years, but to notice the fact that the change is gradually happening is another mind blowing fact.

imagesYesterday is history. Today is a gift. Tomorrow is a mystery.

Cheers to the mystery!
