Life’s all about the choices we make. The good and the bad.
The good choices obviously bring all greens into your life.
The bad choices bring in lessons to learn from.
But the most interesting part is when you’re not entirely sure of what choice to make, so you ask for advice from a friend or a family member. Which tends to usually shift your perception and push you towards making a decision and picking the right choice.
But how do you handle a situation when a choice is made for you? How do you handle when you make the right choice but it doesn’t feel like it?
Look at the situation and understand how or where it will benefit you. There’s a gain in every situation. Never a loss.
Even if at the end of it, it shifts your mind and your thoughts to an action that PEOPLE may feel has he biggest loss, understand that by not listening to others and fully understanding your decision, it’s your choice at the end of the day and some sort of good WILL come.
Honoring yourself is the most important bit. You cannot have someone have control over your day. You cannot have the day control your life. You cannot let a job control your life and nor can your family.
If someone thinks you’re being childish, let them. That’s your way of throwing your point across. If someone thinks you’re selfish, let them. You have every right to put yourself first before anything else.
The point is, what people think of you is not your problem, it’s THEIR problem.
You know who you are better than anyone else. You know what’s right or wrong for you. The choices you make are yours. Your actions are yours. No one should tell you what to do or how to do it.
The choices you make shapes your life, shapes your future. Good or bad. It will always lead you to somewhere. Never nowhere.
