I can’t honestly remember the last time i slept at 11pm and woke up at 7am (Maybe when i had a normal full time job?). It’s not my fault that my job starts at 4pm and ends at 7pm now is it? So i developed this bad habit of sleeping after 1am and waking up around 9-10am.
I’ve come to realize it’s not a good thing. Why? Well it’s going to create issues in the long run. Apart for my awesome 3 hour job, I obviously have other things going on (Marketing/Re-Selling/etc), and it will reach a point where as I will have no choice but to get up at 7am to get to a meeting taking place in Industrial Area at 9am (Thank God I aint married with kids or I’d be dead meat by now). But at this rate I’m only creating room for lethargy and laziness.
So I’ve taken upon myself to start going to bed at 11pm and at least get up by 8am (for starters). I tried that last night, and I still slept after 1am. It’s obviously going to take some time, but I guess I’m going to have to work towards it.
Someone told me once the best way for that to work it sleep early and get up early so you basically tire yourself out, and this morning someone tells me to EAT like a mad person and that will make me lethargic and all I’ll want to do is sleep. Hahaha. Oh the methods. But anyway, it’s gonna take a while and practice. So let’s just say, I’m going to be a good girl and start going to bed (like i did last night) at 11pm and wake up by latest 8am (I feel like I’m going to school all over again because of the sleeping hours – kind of).
Bad sleeping habit sorted?
